After college, he was given the opportunity to paint full time and has been painting professionally since 1965. William Blackman received acclaim in his early career for his dramatic seascapes of the California Coast. His Landscapes of the Texas bluebonnets, California countryside and beautiful Lake Tahoe, Nevada have also been sought after by collectors and galleries. As a published artist, Mr. Blackman’s work has been exhibited at prestigious galleries throughout the United States.
